 Oops Fix For 12 Days Event "Last Days of Summer" 

Today I woke up and found an offline from a VIP letting me know Day 10 was not available for the "Last Days of Summer" as I had stated in a notice it was.  At first I was trying to figure out how it couldn't be out when I had set the gift out Saturday night and then I recounted the gifts and realized it was supposed to be Day 9 that was out.  Surely that should be showing right?  I responded while offline and while getting ready for RL work and it was determined that the gift was correct but my notice was not.  *Doh* that's what happens when multi tasking!  So, today while I was at RL work and roasting away under the hot sun I started to think about how could I make this right.  What could I make that would be cute, fun and still summer related?  I mean after all, I've had my head in Halloween lately so that wasn't going to work.  What did the "Last Days of Summer" look like to me?  I started looking around and saw the leaves in the trees changing color already, felt the sun burning the skin on my face and chest, anxious motorists trying to get to their destinations and frustrated with me for holding them up because of a Dump Truck in the road or a Front Loader moving or an Excavator coming out into traffic to get down to the Equipment yard.  Finally I thought about what would summer be like for me if I was actually able to enjoy it and came up with beach, butterflies, ice cream, flip flops, trips, laying around and relaxing.  So when I came home, I whipped up an "Oops Fix" gift for everyone.  This is restricted to the VIP's of Splintered Creations since the VIP's are who saw the notice.  

This item is called "Beach Bound Pups!".  You can click on the seagull to activate beach sounds.  This item is inside a sand castle found on Splintered Creations beach in the 12 Days Event Room.

You can find this item at Splintered Creations and make sure to wear your VIP tags to obtain it.

You're invited to Xandra Bressig's Pirate Party 2024.  This is August 25, 2024 at 

4-6PM SLT

When you land you'll find the gift area straight ahead.  Each treasure chest (with a store logo) sitting on a barrel has a gift on it at 0L.  If there is no logo for a store then it will be an empty chest.

There will be a DJ playing music from 4-6PM SLT, a contest for "Best In Pirate" and also rides for you to enjoy.
