Homes For Our Troops Fundraising Benefit: 

July 8, 2025  from 4-8PM SLT

Frets Nirvana, longtime supporter and contact for Homes For Our Troops in Second Life in conjunction with the US Military Veterans Group, announces the July 2025 Homes for Our Troops benefit in Second Life.   The benefit will be held on July 8  from 4-8 PM SLT.

Frets Nirvana states:  “HFOT is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of these Veterans are multiple amputees, paraplegic, quadriplegic or have suffered severe traumatic brain injury (TBI).  Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar spent by Homes for Our Troop has gone to directly support Veterans. DURING THAT TIME HFOT HAS BUILT 413 SPECIALLY ADAPTED HOMES NATIONWIDE FOR EXTREMELY INJURED VETERANS.” 

This HFOT benefit concert will feature the following DJ’s and artists from 4PM -8 PM on July 8:

 New Gifts Out at Rockridge Heights Welcome Center 

Celebrating the Red, White and Blue!

Come to the Rockridge Heights Welcome Center and grab your gifts, then make your way over to the Lakeside Venue where Rocky Constantine Lyons will be DJ'ing with his awesome host Lean from 5-7PM SLT.  There will be fireworks also during this set so if you're wanting to watch some fireworks, hang out with fun people, listen to awesome music and cam around at the available rentals during the set then come on by and say Hi!  

These items above are Exclusive to Rockridge Heights Welcome Center and are out for a limited time.  You can use these to brighten up your garden, yard or porch.  There is no cost for these items and no group join required.  The only requirement is a simple request of your time to stop in and check out all that Rockridge Heights has to offer.

Whimsical Wonderland Hunt July 1 to July 31st 2025

The Whimsical Wonderland Hunt is an In-Store and VIP only hunt for Splintered Creations.  What this means is that you must be in the Splintered Creations VIP group in order to participate.  There is no cost for the gifts or the group join, the only cost is your time.  

There are 20 items hidden inside Splintered Creations, look for the White Rabbit shown on the advertisement.  Once you find the White Rabbit just click on it (make sure you have your VIP tag on) and receive your gift.

     Summerween: 12 Days of July at Splintered Creations 

Begins July 11, 2025

Summerween is a 12 Days Event at 

Splintered Creations.

This starts on July 11, 2025 and ends on July 22, 2025.  This is for VIP's of Splintered Creations as well as Non-VIP's of Splintered Creations.  

What is Summerween?  It's Halloween in the Summer!  

The Non VIP Gifts will still be the regular summer related items, the VIP gifts are the Halloween Summer combo (Summerween).  

How this will work is there will be a surfboard with a gift in it available for you.  These will be numbered 1-12 and will correspond with the day of the event.  For example, on July 11th there will be a surfboard available with the number 1 on it since that is the first day of the event.  July 12th the surfboard would have the number 2 and so forth.  

Stop in and have some fun, collect your gifts and become a VIP of Splintered Creations so you can enjoy all the store has to offer.
